About me
My name is Waad but you can also call me Wasan (it's a long story)
First of all, I want to make it clear that I am not going to lie like contenders in singing shows and say, “the first time I designed a logo was when I was six”. In fact this profession was the last thing I thought I would do. I’ve always liked drawing, writing, and photography. My dad used to tell me that I shouldn’t let my hobbies and career get mixed up. I believed him, and I got into the CBA to be a human resource student. And honestly, I was one of the best -at being worst- students. Actually, the reason I chose HR wasn’t because I wanted to be one, but because I was told it had the least math in CBA majors.
I continued being the worst, wait I wasn’t the worst… I was one of them, until the day we were given a presentation about a new college in the UBT, which was the JCA. When they started talking about creative design major, my eyes became bigger and bigger. I started having thoughts about transferring to JCA, so I consulted different people who all encouraged me, and convinced my father.
During the first semester, I was scared because I didn’t know anything about designing programs, this fear didn’t last long because by the second semester, I started getting used to them. What also motivated me was that I was chosen by the college to have a summer internship as a designer. Afterwards, people started coming to me and asking me to design for them, this helped me gain a lot of skills and have better understanding of designing.
Now I can proudly say, I am one of the best!
